ClubGRANTS is a community development funding program sponsored by local clubs and administered by Parramatta City Council.
This scheme enables registered clubs with an annual gaming machine revenue exceeding $1 million to apply 1.85% of their gaming machine revenue to specific community development and support projects.
A further 0.4% of gaming machine revenue is paid quarterly into a state-wide pool known as the ClubGRANTS Fund for large-scale projects associated with sport, health and community infrastructure.
The Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation was lucky enough to awarded a $10,000 grant from The Epping Club this year. This money will be put towards our ongoing cancer care funding scheme.
The foundation will direct all monies gained to the care and comfort of those with cancer. We will provide financial and emotional support, medical equipment, treatments and drugs to those who would otherwise not be able to afford them. The people that would fall between the cracks without our help.
The Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation is a charity working to help those with cancer. It was formed in the memory of Lynne King, who as a nurse spent much of her life caring for those with cancer.
